Your role in our team

• You will work as part of a multi-discipline team to perform complex design, development, maintenance, enhancement, testing, and support of Material Handling Automation Equipment.
• You will support the electrical control design of complex systems that integrate hardware and software.
• You will complete estimates for control engineering level of effort.
• You will perform reviews of complex customers' standards specification and other documentation to determine electrical control requirements.
• You will complete recommendations for ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction
• You will develop, deploy, and commission PLC code to achieve system functionality requirements.
• You will complete the software quality process through the execution of complex module, subsystem and system test procedures.

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas
• You have five (5) years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Knowledge and Responsibilities.
• You are able to travel up to 50%
• You have current experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider PLC languages, architecture and networks desired. Other platforms a plus.
• You have expertise understanding Electrical schematics (Control Panels, Motor Control Panels, Motor Control Centers, Power Distribution).
• You have Network design experience using Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus, ASI Bus, ControlNet, DeviceNet.
• You have experience in Human-Machine Interface programming.
• You have experience with conveyor system electrical controls (Parcel, Baggage, ASRS, Etc.), large machine design, and/or motor control.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills
• You have strong ability to document technical decisions with illustrations and clear verbal explanations
