Position Summary
Perform functions to convert poly-vinyl alcohol (PVA) sponge into finished product.

What You Will Do

• Functions performed in the converting room include, but are not limited to: washing, dyeing, die cutting, stringing, flattening, treating, drying, compressing, inspection, foil packing, tyvek packing, sealing and sterilizer packing. Employees will be trained for specific functions for which they will be qualified.

• All product manufactured in the converting room are manufactured within current Good Manufacturing Practices and/or relevant ISO/CE standards.

• Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed including work orders and treatment logs. Additional responsibilities include; the proper identified and segregation of all product involved with the job task, at all times.

Who You Are

• Demonstrate ability to read and do basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication & division).

• Demonstrate ability to read procedures and work instructions.

• Ability to understand and respond to verbal instructions and directions.

• A reasonable level of manual dexterity.

• Ability to lift/move up to approximately 40 lbs.
