In-House Counsel
ConvertKit is looking for an experienced In-House Counsel to play a strategic partnership and tactical role in helping accomplish ambitious goals. The ideal candidate should be proactive, efficient, and have expertise in data privacy, compliance, and strategic decision-making.
Skills
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
- Active membership with the state bar association
- 8+ years of legal practice
- Strong knowledge of legal regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Strategic partnership with the executive team
- Identifying legal considerations in business strategy
- Creating streamlined workflows for legal workload management
- Advising on intellectual property and employment matters
- Managing legal risks and enhancing compliance processes
Education
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
