Responsible for training and supervising Practice location's medical assistants. Responsible for acting as a liaison for back office staff, management team and physicians. Responsible for providing clinical support to the physicians. Responsible for performing all duties in accordance with Practice policies and procedures.

Provide clinical assistance to Practice physicians and their patients, escort patients from waiting area to the examination room, and make certain that all ordered procedures and laboratory tests are performed in a timely and professional manner.
Actively review departmental needs, collaborate with other departments in developing and implementing policies procedure and processes to improve delivery of care, workflow and work environment.
Maintain and inventory patient care supplies and materials and ensure that supplies are properly ordered, keep supply closer clean and well stocked, maintain vendor and customer service representative card file.
Provide initial, as well as ongoing training to medical assistants on policies, procedures, equipment, and compliance issues.
Liaison between pharmaceutical representatives and physicians, keep drug sample room neat and well stocked, dispose of expired medications.
Ensure all exam rooms, restrooms, x-ray area, lab area are well stocked and immaculate.
Ensure Practice quality standards are met in the back office.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

High school or equivalent; additional education may be required for specific clinical areas.
A minimum of five years experience in a physician's office.
Current CPR Certification

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

Certified M.A. preferred but can be substituted by experience.
Previous supervisory experience.
