Job Summary:
The People First (HR) Representative supports the People First (HR) department in a wide range of functions, including employee records management, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, benefits, and administrative support. This role is empowered to support and perform transactional activities required to enable PF processes and drive a best-in-class employee experience. This position will manage all aspects of the employee files from beginning to end of the employee life cycle, to ensure achievement of federal/state/local regulations and compliance with regulatory agencies.
You will be working from our administrative office in Mesa, AZ. with a hybrid schedule. Pay is $18.20-20.00/hourly.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards. • Performs file audits to ensure all required employee documentation is collected and maintained. • Assist in coordinating and facilitating the new hire onboarding process, including the collection of required documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees. • Support HR leadership in monitoring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist in preparing reports for audits or compliance checks. • Provide general administrative support in the employee relations process, including scheduling meetings, documenting conversations, and assisting with employee inquiries. • Assist employees with basic benefits inquiries and direct them to appropriate resources when necessary. • Maintain and update HR databases and systems, ensuring accurate input of employee data and information. • Provide support and assistance with the processing of TB testing renewals. • Manage and process new hire and staff renewal FP appointments. • Respond to verbal and written employment verification requests. • Ensures compliance with the USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification and maintains records/storage. • Processes vendor invoices accordingly. • Provide front desk coverage as required. • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR department, including handling correspondence, filing, and assisting in various HR-related projects as needed. • To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma) plus 1-2 years of related experience preferably in human resources.
