Copywriter

Job Summary

The ideal candidate is a creative team player, talented wordsmith, and health/wellness geek. You will work with the marketing team to develop content that will establish our family of brands as an authority in the space. We're growing FAST. Essential Functions

• Collaborate with brand managers and agency partners to develop effective content that conveys a unique brand voice.
• Write product pages, headlines for campaigns, website copy, video scripts, social posts, ads, sales materials, etc.
• Help develop and implement guidelines for a consistent brand voice.
• Understand and have a passion for SEO content and the ability and interest to research keywords and incorporate those effectively into the brand voice.
• Think creatively and out-of-the-box to consider ways to communicate in writing messaging that may be constrained by legal requirements.
• Research (sometimes medical or scientific) uses for natural ingredients and products and then convey such learnings in easy-to-understand written communications.
• Contribute to the overall marketing strategy. You will be exposed to all of our marketing efforts and collaborate closely with our graphic designers to create cohesive marketing communications.

Additional Responsibilities

• May supervise and coordinate other marketing activities.
• Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with copywriting and editing experience.
• A great writer flowing with creative ideas—and a grammar snob.
• Ability to produce large amounts of written content under (sometimes)-tight timelines.
• Like, love, or obsess over health, wellness, beauty, nutrition, biohacking, and/or self-improvement.
• Be pleasant to have around, work well in a team, and work hard.
• Highly organized with a passion for attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel; and talk or hear.
• The employee must exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 5 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, field of vision.
