Job Summary
The SLED/Public Sector RFP & Contracts Coordinator will manage our response to and submission of public sector RFPs (Requests for Proposals) that align with our solution offerings. Additionally, will manage our pursuit of new public sector procurement contracts and oversee the process for getting our company named/listed on various contracts, including manufacturers' contracts, state contracts, GSA schedules, and national cooperative purchasing agreements.

Role Responsibilities- Lead the development and submission of comprehensive, compliant, and compelling RFP responses for opportunities that align with our solution offerings.
- Collaborate with the sales, technical, and legal teams to gather the necessary information and ensure accuracy in RFP submissions.
- Analyze RFP requirements to develop strategies and win themes that align with client needs and highlight our unique value propositions.
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end RFP response process, including drafting, reviewing, editing, and finalizing proposals.
- Develop and maintain a repository of proposal content, templates, and other resources to streamline future RFP responses.
- Monitor and track public sector RFP portals and procurement websites to identify new opportunities.
- Ensure timely submission of all RFPs and related documentation, adhering to deadlines and client requirements.
- Conduct post-submission debriefs to gather feedback and continuously improve the RFP response process.
- Stay informed about industry trends, public sector procurement policies, and competitor activities.
- Identify and pursue new public sector procurement opportunities that align with our company's solutions and strategic goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to secure listings on key manufacturers' contracts, state contracts, GSA schedules, and national cooperative purchasing agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, legal, finance, and technical teams, to prepare and submit necessary documentation for contract applications and renewals.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of public sector procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with public sector procurement officials, key stakeholders, and strategic partners to enhance our company's visibility and opportunities.
- Monitor and track relevant procurement portals, websites, and publications to stay informed about upcoming opportunities and changes in procurement policies.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including negotiations, renewals, amendments, and compliance monitoring.
- Develop and maintain a repository of contract-related documents, templates, and resources to streamline future contract pursuits.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Senior Vice President of Sales for SLED/Public Sector on the status of RFP & procurement efforts and contract opportunities.
Role Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in managing RFP responses or related role, preferably within the technology industry.
- Understanding of public sector procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in proposal management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong internal relationships.
Compensation- The base salary for this position is typically $70,000 to $85,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each candidate, including experience and location.
