The Program Coordinator supports the operational and administrative functions of a multi-year program designed to shrink health disparities in the San Gabriel Valley.
This is a grant funded position that will end on 11/30/2025.
(Must speak, read and write one of the program’s target languages: Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and testing will occur during the interview process)

As a Community Health Worker with CORE in sunny Los Angeles, California, you'll play a vital role in reducing health disparities in the San Gabriel Valley. This grant-funded part-time position requires your Spanish fluency, enabling you to effectively conduct door-to-door surveys and community assessments. You'll be responsible for the planning and coordination of program activities, helping to create schedules, track deadlines, and ensure timely communication with program management and stakeholders. Your role will see you collaborating closely with community members to offer essential services and linkages while attending outreach events that truly make a difference. You’ll also utilize various software applications to collect and report data on community health metrics, ensuring an accurate representation of our efforts. Given the nature of the job, extensive travel is expected, both on foot and by vehicle, so reliability is a must. Ideally, you bring a degree in public health or have equivalent experience in this engaging field. If you're someone with at least a year of experience in public health or community outreach, have the skills to thrive in varying environments, and are proficient in English and Spanish, we would love to see your application.
