Fixed Assets Accountant

CoreWeave is searching for a fixed assets accountant who is excited about taking on new challenges and focused on professional growth.

Skills

Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles including GAAP
Extreme attention to detail and organization
High proficiency in Excel
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Experience and understanding of internal control
Flexibility in a fast-paced environment and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

Responsible for the full cycle accounting of fixed assets including acquisition, construction in progress, spare parts, capitalization, depreciation, transfer, disposition, reconciliation, and reporting.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while establishing and implementing accounting policies, controls, and procedures.
Review vendor invoices, track FA by location and category, design and conduct periodic FA cycle counts, support the Fixed Asset team lead in reconciling fixed asset balances.
Prepare audit schedules, FA schedules for tax provision footnotes, and assist with tax returns.
Investigate potential obsolescence of fixed assets and conduct related analyses as requested by management.
Coordinate with Purchasing and Governmental Relations teams to align purchases with tax incentive programs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
