Corporate Communication Intern

Position Summary

Are you looking for an exciting and unique opportunity to gain experience in corporate communications and public relations? Life Time, the nation’s premier healthy lifestyle brand, is offering a paid summer internship, starting in June, that will allow an eager candidate working toward a degree in Mass Communications to assist with internal and external communication initiatives.

This position requires a motivated, detail-oriented professional who is prepared to work with a dynamic team in the fast-paced environment of Life Time Corporate Communications.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop compelling media pitches, press releases, and media materials that differentiate Life Time and drive member acquisition and retention.

• Support the Social Media team by finding user-generated content, writing copy for various social platforms and community management.

• Work with our Internal Communication team in executing Team Member communications and gathering positive stories about Team Members for recognition.

• Assist in daily tasks for each team including reporting, research, monitoring trends, mailings, etc.

Position Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program
• Currently maintaining a GPA of 2.0 or higher
• Knowledge of standard office procedures and computer software
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• A passion for Life Time’s mission
