We enhance our extensive property database, personalize our customers' experience on our product websites, and create innovative datasets and forecasts that are the industry standards in our market leading products. We are searching for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our collaborative group that includes a mix of big data, API and full stack development teams. We are growing rapidly to help invent the future of Real Estate, with Data Science playing a critical role in that growth. RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate on the continued improvement of CoStar's cloud-based machine learning environment Design, build, test and deploy scalable, reusable and maintainable models that handle large amounts of data. Collaborate with other engineers, product owners, and leadership to create ML solutions that solve practical problems and improves our customer's experience Gain an understanding of the CoStar business and how ML can improve things BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree, preferably Computer Science / Data Science or related field. MSc or PhD is a plus. 3 years of professional development experience as Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist or related role 3 years of programming experience with modern languages such as Python, Scala, Java, C#. Work experience with Image Classification, Object Detection or Recommendation Systems Experience with ML cloud tools such as Databricks, Amazon Personalize, SageMaker, and Rekognition Experience with ML Libraries Such as Tensorflow, Keras, Scikit-Learn, Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks Experience with data visualization libraries matplotlib , seaborn, or Plotly PREFERRED SKILLS Experience with databases, such as SQL Server, AWS RDS, DynamoDB Experience solving streaming and batch data processing problems at scale Experience building, deploying and optimizing Computer Vision algorithms CoStar Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer; we maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing Salary Range: $80K -- $100K Minimum Qualification Data Science & Machine LearningEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
