About the Role

Your mission is to scale our coaching marketplace to create a learning advantage for all of CourseCareers students. This is a business product manager role where you'll be responsible for solving business problems and are expected to develop very strong business acumen. This is not a technology product manager role.

As a project manager, aka associate product manager at CourseCareers, you will own the entire coaching product end to end. This requires someone who is looking to be measured solely on results and be responsible for the success of an entire business unit. This role will be a launch pad to moving up the product management career path.

This position will be specifically focused on growing and improving our coaching platform, with the role being a mix of strategy and execution. You will be in charge of everything from coach acquisition to activation and retention.

To accomplish your goals, you will work very closely with the education product manager, software dev team, and marketing team.

What You’ll Do

The first outcome you'll be responsible for is acquiring coaches for our platform. This can be done through a mix of outbound sales such as cold emails, LinkedIn messages, group posts, job postings, and more. Your job is to figure out how we can improve acquiring coaches and scale it.

The second outcome is improving coach activation. This includes everything from landing page design to signup flow and getting new coaches to the aha moment by acquiring their first client. You'll be responsible for identifying ways to improve our activation flow, helping design mockups, and working with the engineering team to get them implemented.

The third outcome is increasing coach utilization among students. You'll do this by helping improve the services coaches offer and how they're marketed. This means building relationships with individual coaches, getting user feedback, coming up with new ideas, and sharing guidance.

What You'll Need

  • Experience or education in product is a plus

  • Experience or education in UIUX is a plus

  • A strong understanding of online education is required to be successful.

  • Excellent English communication and relationship-building skills are also required to be successful

  • Strong desire to act and be treated as an entrepreneur

  • Degree not preferred

Compensation

  • $40,000 - $60,000/year base salary + quarterly bonuses based on performance
