Robins & Morton is looking for a Crane Operator to help us deliver a high-quality service to our valued client. The Crane Operator contributes safe, effective and efficient services to the project team.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: (Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.)

• Inspect crane and recommend appropriate actions to maintain the crane in good working order
• Meet all OSHA requirements in connection with crane operation including daily inspection log
• Maintain focus on crane operation
• Safely hoist, move, and place materials and objects, using appropriate attachments

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: (Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.)

• Currently certified by an accredited crane/derrick operator testing organization
• Ability to maintain appropriate physical capabilities
• Preferably, NCCCO certified
• 2+ years of operating experience with type crane to be used
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals and ability to write routine reports and correspondence is required
• Ability to climb to the top of tower where cab is located
• Ability to work in the cab of a crane which is sometimes located on top of a tower
• Ability to regularly work in outside weather conditions, to frequently work near moving mechanical parts, to occasionally work in high places and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and toxic chemicals
