Creative Associate

Geltor is looking for a Creative Associate, who will support the Creative Director full-time on various duties relating to the company’s Marketing, Communications, and Creative functions. The Associate will provide general administrative support across each of these areas, with contributions in writing, design, and production for a variety of projects.

This is an exciting role with growth potential for a generalist passionate about biodesign and its vast real-world applications. The Creative Associate will bring excellent organizational skills, and strengths and interest in developing in one or more of the areas of research, writing, media relations, graphic design, and / or content creation.

This person has a DIY-first mentality and is a solutions-oriented problem solver.

Key Responsibilities:

Support for the Creative Director on administrative tasks including recording and submission of expenses, ordering of supplies, and maintenance of the organization’s external calendar.
Drafting, editing, and proofreading of written content.
Graphic design for internal documents and marketing materials in adherence to Geltor brand guidelines.
Light web maintenance and social media management duties.
Production assistance for physical and digital installations of varying size.
Monitoring, research, and reporting on market trends, industry events, and press on topics in beauty and personal care & food and nutrition which are relevant to Geltor’s business activities.
Data collection and management, ranging from vendors and sponsorship opportunities to moodboarding for creative projects.
With the Creative Director, working closely with agency partners engaged in creation of visual assets for Geltor.

Skills and Experience:

Strong organizational, research, writing, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Curiosity and some experience with biology source material; beauty and personal care and/or food and nutrition a strong plus.
Intermediate-level familiarity with software including Adobe Creative Suite (PS, AI, ID), Canva, Figma, WordPress, Powerpoint, Salesforce Email Studio, Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluency with digital media and social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
Exquisite attention to detail, ability to prioritize effectively, and to collaborate in a fast-paced and tight-knit team environment.
