Digital Content Specialist

About the job

Our client in the health and wellness space is looking for a Digital Content Specialist to assist their team.

This will be 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, you will get to go onsite Wednesday-Friday in their Scottsdale office.

What you will be doing as a Digital Content Specialist:

• Add creative content to the companies website
• Manage,schedule, and publish market content via Jira
• Enter and modify text and image content into Contentful to fit preexisting HTML & CSS components
• Make image modifications, change resolution, and create contextually appropriate file types using Adobe Photoshop for product launches, events and marketing campaigns
• Perform on-site search engine optimization (SEO) and metadata updates on the content on the company website and help identify new opportunities to improve on-site optimization
• Edit, update, and review existing web content to ensure it meets internal digital standards

What you need to know as a Digital Content Specialist:

• 2+ years of content management experience or related experience
• 1+ year of HTML experience
• Strong understanding and ability to use Contentful or similar expertise in CMS platforms or with HTML/CSS
• Knowledgeable in WordPress and SharePoint
• Familiar with SEO concepts and SEM campaigns including Google AdWords as well as understanding of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Google AdWords and SEO/SEM campaigns
• Ability to edit photos using Photoshop or similar editing tool is nice to have
