So, what's the job?

Manages a line of Ashfield business and leads and delivers strategic ideas from conceptual to execution. The role includes partnering with Medical and Scientific Services and Client Services in brainstorming strategies to understand the intended audience, development of Creative Briefs to bring strategic objectives to life. Demonstrates a deep knowledge of process and design. Web experience a plus. Supervisors manage a small group of designers and gives input into the creative direction.

Report to Creative Director, and partners with Director of Digital. This is a remote role.

• Work together with copywriters, MSS art directors and account team to provide creative, strategically sound solutions for client, in-house and new business needs.
• Own jobs, from beginning to end.
• Understands multi-channel marketing and planning.
• Supports new business initiatives.
• Creates compelling slide presentations.
• Manage and direct art directors and designers.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations.
• Work closely with the copy, editorial and project management departments to ensure that projects are completed according to deadlines.
• Present work in an organized and interesting manner.
• Attends photo and video shoots.
• Designs at a high level of quality.
• Typical project types include: Concepting, booth design & engagement, sales aids, patient materials, website, Ads (Congresses, brand, social media), storyboards, style guides, photo and video shoots, high end art development

Who has the qualities to join our team?

• Bachelor of Arts degree in a related field
• 6+ years of experience of digital and print design
• Thorough knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint)
• Independently execute and develop tactics through final production
• Deep knowledge of process and design
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong independent decision-making, organizational, and planning skills.
