Credence has an immediate opening for a Project Management Specialist working in space-related research, development, production, operations & maintenance, and lifecycle acquisition activities.  This work will support the Military Communication (MilComm) and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) directorate.

Salary Range

• Full pay range for this position is $205,000 to $235,000 per year, with the starting wage determined based on candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

• Responsible for Information Management to include but not limited to developing, facilitating, updating and/or coordinating 3-letter and 4-letter level briefings, tasks, reports, media queries, public releases, and special projects supporting paragraphs
• Responsible for Managing the coordination of the following areas information requests
• Respond to data calls, document reviews, acquisition reporting, travel requests, media requests, and other mandatory reporting
• Confirm Program Documentation is consistent with applicable standards and report findings to the Government
• Effectively receive document, generate, distribute, track, and close tasks at the 2-letter and 3-letter levels to the maximum extent possible
• Review staff responses for Government approval, distribution and closure
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise with the development of strategic long-term planning for MilCOMM PNT Directorate
• Assist with schedule implementation and delivery of services
• Compile documentation for milestone or other major reviews by senior officials
• Provide articles, speeches, and testimony on the Directorate operations and initiatives
• review, coordinate, and process program information suitable for public release to industry, media, trade publications, international partners, and other program stakeholders
• Coordinate PEO organization visits

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

• Secret security clearance is required
• Subject Matter Expert Level (SME) A Subject Matter Expert is an individual whose qualifications and/or particular expertise are exceptional and/or highly unique. Subject Matter Experts do not have specific experience/education qualifications but are typically identified as recognized Industry leaders for a given area of expertise.
• Ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff
• Ability to provides detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission-critical challenges/issues
• Ability to consult with client to define needs, and problems, supervise studies, and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions
• Ability to initiate, supervise, and/or develops requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs
