CRM Analyst

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced CRM Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience working specifically with MS Dynamics 365 CRM Sales. This role requires in-depth knowledge and proficiency in configuring and customizing MS Dynamics 365 CRM Sales to meet organizational requirements. Experience with other Dynamics 365 applications, such as D365 Marketing and D365 Finance and Operations, is a bonus. This position will primarily support the Lead CRM Administrator in system configuration, customization, and testing, while also providing training and user support.


What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with the Lead CRM Administrator to support the ongoing management of the D365 Sales CRM to meet the organization's requirements.
  • Proficiency in working with Dynamics 365 Sales, including knowledge of its features and functionality specific to sales and marketing processes.
  • Ability to customize and configure Dynamics 365 Sales to meet specific business requirements, including creating custom fields, entities, workflows, and business process flows.
  • Proficiency in generating reports, dashboards, and analytics within Dynamics 365 Sales to provide insights into sales performance, pipeline management, and forecasting.
  • Evaluate user enhancement requests with Lead CRM Administrator and Sales & Marketing Operations Manager to ensure alignment with strategic initiatives.
  • Experience in providing training and support to CRM users, including onboarding new users, conducting training sessions, and addressing user inquiries and issues related to Dynamics 365 Sales CRM.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for streamlining sales and marketing processes and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and work with Lead CRM Administrator and Business Apps team to resolve them.
  • Stay up to date with the latest features and releases in the Dynamics 365 platform and recommend best practices to optimize system performance.
  • Provide support for third party integrations and work with CRM partners and vendors to implement more technical requirements.
  • Work with existing and future CRM partners to manage support tickets, coordinate system enhancements and implement new application features.

What We Expect from You

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Dynamics 365 Sales platform customization & configuration (experience in the engineering industry a plus).
  • Functional understanding of CRM systems and experience identifying and developing business use cases.
  • Experience and knowledge to automate processes, design and build forms, customize system components in a D365 Sales environment.
  • Experience with custom versions of Dynamics 365 Sales (ex. AEC 360), or other custom solutions preferred.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work across teams, including sales, marketing, project management, and IT, to gather and organize requirements.
  • Direct experience with data entry, cleansing, import/export, and quality control, ensuring accuracy and completeness of CRM data related to leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, and projects.
  • Independent worker with a strong bias towards systems & process.
  • Focus on teamwork and ability to manage relationships across multiple departments.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving scenarios.
  • Experience with Microsoft Products including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Strong execution and follow-up skills
  • Ability to remain flexible enough to meet the demands of a fluid and changing environment.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Experience with the following is a plus but not required. There is an opportunity to gain experience and learn in these areas.

  • MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • MS Dynamics 365 Marketing
  • MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  • Azure DevOps
  • Data Cleansing tools (ex. Demandbase)
