POSITION DETAILS

The Assembly Crew is responsible for building furniture and filling customer orders in a manner that meets our standards for safety, quality and cleanliness. This full-time position works with a variety of tools, hardware and machinery out of our Killbuck campus. Experience in an advanced manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate within standard operating procedures and quality control processes
  • Understand, train and operate all assembly and packing machinery
  • Comply with forklift training guidelines
  • Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
  • Stage finished product for loading and load onto truck


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Good communication skills
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
  • Flexible schedule when workload and deadlines need to be met
  • Forklift certification is a plus


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

The essential functions of this position frequently require the team member to use hands or fingers to lift, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and to stand, walk, sit and reach with hands and arms. The team member is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and must occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds. This position requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protectors and work boots.
