Manager, Data Science - Safety Metrics

Cruise is a self-driving service on a mission to transform cities with advanced self-driving technology. We are looking for a Senior Data Science Manager to lead a team in executing data-driven strategies to enhance safety metrics in Autonomous Vehicles.

Skills

Master's or higher degree in a related field
Experience managing teams in Data Science
Proficiency in Python and SQL
Knowledge of machine learning and analytics

Responsibilities

Grow and develop a team of data scientists and analysts
Set safety metrics strategy for simulation and on-road driving
Improve machine learning models and metrics for safety performance
Drive Data Science standard methodologies within the team
Serve as an embodiment of Cruise values

Education

Master's or higher degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
