Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack), ML Data Platform

Join Cruise, a self-driving service paving the way for advanced autonomous vehicles. We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer for our ML Data Shop team to design and implement platforms supporting data labeling for AV model development.

Skills

Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Redux, WebGL
Strong coding skills in Golang or Python
Experience with A/B testing and telemetry systems
Familiarity with web interfaces handling large data using Service Workers, Cache Storage, IndexedDB
Solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and APIs

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and test scalable data systems and interfaces using the latest technologies
Automate processes to enhance workflow efficiency for machine learning engineers
Collaborate with ML engineers to support R&D efforts and enhance existing systems
Own technical projects from inception to completion
Work cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals

Education

BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
