About the Role:

We're seeking an ambitious, experienced Development Engineer. This role will play a key part in advancing innovative natural gas supply solutions for power generation projects, along with leading efforts in post-combustion carbon capture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, specifically in managing full project cycles from concept to in-service support. The role involves responsibilities such as leading technical development for natural gas pipelines and emissions controls, coordinating equipment and site needs, and supporting cross-functional teams in business development efforts. With this position, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on sustainability and power generation projects across our organization.

A Day In The Life:

  • Collaborate with the Gas Origination Manager to develop reliable natural gas supplies that fuel the company’s power generation projects.

  • Serve as the engineering lead for designing and implementing connections to interstate and intrastate gas pipelines, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.

  • Coordinate and manage the acquisition of rights of way for gas pipeline laterals and meter stations, working closely with third-party landmen.

  • Drive innovation in carbon capture technology, acting as the technical lead for the company and its partners on post-combustion carbon capture initiatives for gas power projects.

  • Oversee the selection of prime movers, equipment allocation, and site emission requirements to optimize power generation projects.

  • Forecast long lead equipment needs and manage timing for critical components of gas power projects.

  • Provide key engineering support to the business development and deal teams, contributing to successful partnerships and project outcomes.

  • Partner with project management teams to ensure all deal parameters are met, and project goals are achieved effectively.

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of $110,000 - $135,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
