Installation Analyst, Mid/Senior

For nearly 50 years, CSA has delivered integrated technology and operational support services to meet the defense and federal sector's most complex enterprise needs. CSA is seeking a Mid/Senior-Level Installation Analyst to provide installation support across multiple U.S. Navy C4I Programs of Record.


How Your Role Will Make an Impact:
  • Provide installation support for multiple programs and systems within the PEO C4I PMW/A 170 – Communications and GPS Program Office. Coordinate and facilitate with internal and external agencies to expedite installation processes, assisting the government in developing fielding plans that meet schedules and critical path timelines.
  • Support the Navy Modernization Process (NMP), including the Naval Information Warfare SYSCOM/PEO Integrated Data Environment Repository (SPIDER), Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I) Advanced Planning Suite (CAPS), and Mod Tracker, to ensure that installation packages are delivered in a complete and timely manner.
  • Conduct NMP milestone reviews to ensure program and process compliance.
  • Enter and maintain installation information within specific Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) databases.
  • Assist in the development of ad-hoc installation-related data calls and metric requests, program spend plans, Program Objective Memoranda (POM) input, and Continuing Resolution Agreement (CRA) funding requirements.
  • Support installation issue resolution, ensure the accuracy of installation status, assess areas of potential risk, and work with the government to resolve issues, provide mitigations, and ensure program objectives are met.
  • Track all documentation requirements for installations, ensuring that all documentation is completed on time to support program schedules and critical path timelines.
  • Familiarity with the Change Order Request Notification (CORN) process.
  • Develop, update, and review input to installation deliverables, including Heat Charts, Waterfall Charts, Program Briefs, A-O messages, Target Configuration Date (TCD) messages, Planned Not Authorized (PNA) briefs for immature alterations, and Installation Contract Readiness Reviews (ICRR) data calls in support of overall installation execution.
  • Provide mitigations for risks identified in the Platform Configuration Control Board (PCCB) tool for Program Readiness Reviews (PRR); synchronize Fielding Plan (SFP) data calls comparing the plan to SPIDER; prepare Late Ship Installation Drawing (SID) briefs to explain why funding was not at the planning yard at the A-660 milestone for contracting purposes; and provide APM-I(s) with background information for assigned programs for PMW 750/760 O-6 Installation Readiness Reviews (IRRs).
  • Review and socialize Baseline Change Requests (BCRs) for late additions or deletions from the baseline.
  • Review System SOVTs, Engineering Change Order (ECO) packages, Software Delivery (SWD) packages, work scopes, SCDs, and other installation documentation prior to upload.
  • Routinely apply processes and policies from the Shore Installation Process, including those listed in SPAWARINST 4720.1, Ship Installation Process Handbook, and Fleet Readiness Certification Board (FRCB) guidelines.
  • Provide installation-related information and updates during regularly scheduled program meetings.


What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:
  • Clearance: Must have Active Secret clearance or higher
  • 5+ years of experience providing installation support to U.S. Navy C4I Programs of Record (POR) or non-POR systems
  • Familiarity with NAVWAR Installation Process Handbooks, NAVSEA Technical Specifications, OPNAV instructions, and the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual
  • Familiarity with SPIDER, CAPS, and Mod Tracker
  • Familiarity with the Navy Modernization Process
  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • DAWIA qualifications desired, but not required


$100,000 - $119,000 a year
Candidates based in California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey (Jersey City), New York or Washington: The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000-119,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. CSA considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
