Do you have lived experience as a commercially sexually exploited individual and want to provide mental health support to youth? Join our team and provide peer support to Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) involved or at risk youth!
We are looking for a CSEC Peer Specialist who will provide case management, mentorship, and advocacy to the youth and families they work with. As a Peer Specialist, you will also participate in community outreach and education which may include sharing your survivor story. Must have personal lived experience of Commercial Sexual Exploitation in your own life.
ABOUT CSEC TEAMING
The Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) Teaming Program provides emergency and ongoing short-term case management to CSEC identified youth and their families.

Responsibilities:
Provide one on one peer support to CSEC involved or at risk youth
Attend and participate in CSEC awareness activities in the community
Provide youth/families with referrals and linkage to other resources in the community
Collaborate and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
Complete all training requirements as indicated by Program Supervisor
Complete notes and paperwork as indicated by Program Supervisor
Participate in weekly supervision/mentorship with the Program Supervisor or designee
Qualifications:
Required:
Must have personal lived experience of Commercial Sexual Exploitation in your own life
High school diploma/GED
Must be at least 21 years of age
Own vehicle, valid California driver's license, and insurability with Seneca's automobile policy
Clearance of TB test, fingerprints and any other mandatory state/federal requirements
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
Preferred:
Ability to work as a team player
Strong communication skills
Schedule:
Part-time
Ability to work 24 hours a week
Flexible schedule to work some evenings and weekends as needed
Benefits:
Starting at $22 - $24.50 per hour, actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role
