We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our ever-growing Engineering team.   

We want this person to be responsible for building our automated testing system, process and the suite of tests from scratch. The ideal candidate will have been in a role previously where the requirement has been to build an automated test environment from the ground up with experience using Playwright alongside BrowserStack as well as possessing great JavaScript/NodeJS engineering skills.

Day in the life   

• You will be using open source/commercial frameworks & libraries to build out our automated testing system and suit of automated tests. This will involve both browser based UI testing and API testing. 

• This role will work alongside our manual QA engineer to prioritise those tests that can to be automated. 

• You will also spend time with our engineers to build an efficient process to highlight issues discovered by automated tests to the engineering team and what an efficient follow-up looks like.  

What you bring to the team   

  
As a seasoned QA Automation Engineer you’ll be equipped with a wealth of experience and expertise that will enable you to make an immediate impact on the team.  

We’re looking for someone that has a proven track record of implementing new systems from the ground up and maintaining robust automation frameworks, particularly using Playwright (NodeJS) and BrowserStack.  

• Experience with Playwright. 

• Previous time spent working within a small team to build out an automated test environment from the ground up.  

• Deep understanding of both Browser-based UI testing and API testing. 

• A high level of JavaScript / NodeJS engineering skill. 

• Time spent working alongside Manual QA Engineers and Software Engineers.
