General Description:
The Curriculum Support Analyst will provide support to the Office of Academic Affairs in understanding the data that informs student success across the college curricula, particularly as it pertains to curriculum development and implementation. This position will work closely with and be supervised by the Associate Director of Curriculum and Innovative Education to understand curriculum data and turn data into actionable information.
Duties and Tasks:
Analyze student academic program placement as well as external resources (such as Transfer Virginia common curricula) to identify curricular trends that may inform curricular changes.
Prepare memos or reports on topics of interest to the Associate Director or Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs, as it pertains to curricular issues.
Review student information system reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with curriculum.
Manage curricular programs in academic planning software and work collaboratively with faculty and staff on enhancements that can be made to maximize student retention and completion.
Manage reverse transfer process, including collaboration with internal and external partners.
Coordinate review of reverse transfer applicants, including identifying and training reviewers as needed.
Manage reverse transfer emails from students and faculty/staff.
Manage Academic Affairs department email system and handle tickets from faculty/staff.
Review course directive requests and collaborate with College Records Office to complete required changes.
Assist academic advisers and counselors by providing recommendations to support student academic progress.
Assist in drafting communications to be sent to students from Office of Academic Affairs (such as to communicate curricular changes).
Coordinate annual trainings on changes in academic policies and curriculum changes.

Knowledgeable with Microsoft Excel and manipulating data
