Pay Range: $12 - $18/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Uses established procedures and job experience to carry out and resolve moderately complex to complex work assignments and conducts member research, as necessary.
- Contacts members in all stages of delinquency and across all client’s product lines through automated and manual outbound dialing; receives inbound collections and general servicing calls.
- Under limited supervision, performs individual member needs assessment to quickly determine the member's reason for delinquency and provide customized solutions and advice to improve their financial security.
- Completes required account verification, account maintenance, and documents all contact and collection attempts.
- Follows the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and all other applicable local, state, and national laws and regulation surrounding the collection industry.
- Actively uses and educates members on the debt analyzer and money manager tools.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is Required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Any previous Collection experience is highly preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of Customer service and inbound and outbound call center experience.
- Experience in fielding inbound calls, and multi-tasking thru multiple systems while handling account inquiries at a moderate pace.
- Experience using Auto dialer as they’re on the phone so long, they need people who are used to working in that environment.
- Work requires utilization of the standard office equipment, including computers, faxes, telephones, phones, and headsets.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Typing.
- Ability to work non-standard hours as the work schedules may vary.
