The Role

SPM Oil & Gas currently has an opening for a Customer Service Representative. In this position you will coordinates Customer Support for selected accounts. You will also work with Industry Reps to support sales and relationships with Oil and Gas customers in order to achieve the business plan.

Job duties include, but are not limited to

• Answer all customer phone calls, set up and maintain customer account details-related to invoicing, shipping etc, create quotes and sales orders for customers, and support customers with technical product knowledge and operational account maintenance.

• Resolve order fulfillment issues and provide pricing support (annual reviews/change requests- specification driven, new price setting, debit/ credit notes) and be responsible for coordinating sales input to product changeover activity and reporting.

• Responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by management from time to time.

• Communicate with the customer on day-to-day issues and learn how to identify business growth opportunities in conjunction with an allocated Industry Rep.

• Support and maintain effective relationships with Industry Reps. This includes supporting customer visits and having an awareness of marketing materials/support information concepts to support field sales activity.

• Quickly and correctly identify problems. Will resolve issues by following departmental guidelines or applying a solution that worked in the past. Impacts key quality goals including Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Timeliness, Accuracy, Efficiency, Internal Quality Certification, Office Certification, etc. The position prepares information used in analyzing the quality of the measure(s) stated.

• Coordinate product transfers with other SPM facilities as required

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent related education or experience.

• One to two years of job-related experience.

• Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department including a high level of flexibility.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

• Support project management skills and learning customer skills.

• Ability to use Office 365 including, but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
