What to expect as a Customer Success Account Specialist:

As a Customer Success Account Specialist you will apply your analytical mind to support our Key Account Managers in multiple aspects of client health, retention, and growth.

Our Customer Success Account Specialist will collect and evaluate information available publicly using Meltwater’s proprietary software technology. Using this information, the Customer Success Account Specialist will collate key insights which inform our B2B clients’ decision-making across a range of industries including government, education, retail, banking and other. This individual should be clued up on current events, have a strong understanding of online, traditional and social media, be a team player, and be excited to learn about a variety of industries.

The Customer Success Account Specialist will also be assisting in the research, identification, and qualification of sales opportunities within the existing customer portfolio, as well as ensuring Premium customers are effectively adopting and using the services in their subscriptions.

As a Client Success Account Specialist, you will:

  • Support in the scoping of various client projects.

  • Translate customer’s requirements into various deliverables.

  • Assist with both quantitative and qualitative deliverables.

  • Track projects and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of client reports.

  • Conduct research on existing clients to identify adoption and growth opportunities

  • Prospect and qualify potential adoption and growth opportunities

  • Conduct training for new users of Key Accounts

To be a successful Customer Success Account Specialist, you will have:

  • Attained Bachelor's Degree or relevant previous work experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales, agency, or analytical role

  • Proficient in Microsoft, Google suite of document management software (PPT, Excel, Slides, Word, Docs, etc)

  • Excellent writing skills, with knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative reporting

  • Ability to think critically – look at numbers, trends, and data and draw conclusions based on the findings

  • Meticulous eye for detail, ensuring data quality & precision

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

  • A team player, customer-first attitude

  • A desire for personal growth and development

  • Keen interest in current affairs, mainstream media and social media

  • Comfort in working independently
