U.S. Facilities and Operations:

Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.


Responsibilities


Position Summary:

This position is under the general supervision of the Customer Support Director. Oversees the administrative duties of Customer Support.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Oversees administrative assistant duties for Customer Support such as distributing faxes to CSR’s and distributing mail.
  • Manages reporting of Key Performance Indicators for department PRIDE program.
  • Updates various department organizational charts on a monthly basis and distributes to appropriate staff members.
  • Assists in developing and communicating administrative practices and procedures to staff.
  • Creates and reports department statistics for call volume, abandon rate and time off of the phones.
  • Drafts, types, proofreads and edits correspondences, memos, and other forms of internal and external communications.
  • Assists Customer Support with orders, allocations, and other duties as needed.
  • Assists Customer File Maintenance with their workflow as needed.

  • Electronic filing techniques

  • English grammar, spelling, punctuation and usage
  • Expert level use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Type at or above a net rate of 60 words per minute using a computer keyboard
  • Accurately transcribe minutes from meetings
  • Operate standard office equipment including calculator and telecommunications devices.
  • Assign, train, and supervise the work of temporary support personnel
  • Communicate and work cooperatively with staff, management, departmental representatives, vendors, contractors and the general public
  • Independently plan and complete work assignments within established deadlines
  • Research, draft, and compile records, reports, and communications
  • Schedule meetings and conferences
  • Organize and maintain filing systems
  • Maintain the confidentiality of private company information.

$43,270 - $51,930

Qualifications


Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

Required:

  • 5 or more years of related experience is required—Office, customer service, administrative assistant experience
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Specialized coursework or training in the use of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desired:

  • SAP knowledge preferred
  • Experience with Sales Force.com preferred
  • College degree—Preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
