Customer Support Specialist - health & human services

Liberty Healthcare Corporation is now accepting applications for a full-time Customer Support Specialist position.

In this unique customer service role, you will have an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging in phone conversations with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as their families and other stakeholders
  • Answering questions and addressing concerns from callers
  • Providing information about available health and human services, the process for applying for these services, as well as the wait period between applying for and receiving services
  • Logging details from phone conversations into a computer system
  • Addressing emails and sending written communications
  • Participating in training activities

This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a great team of Customer Support Specialists in a collaborative, supportive and fun team atmosphere at Liberty’s office which is located at 8850 Emerald Street in Boise, nearby the Boise Towne Square Mall.

As a Customer Support Specialist and valued employee of Liberty Healthcare you can expect:

  • Starting pay range of $18.04 to $22.00 per hour (approximately $37,500 to $45,760 annually), depending on experience
  • $500 new hire sign on bonus ($250 paid at 90 days and $250 paid at 180 days)
  • 240 hours (30 days) of annual paid time off for vacation, holidays, sick and personal leave

  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and 401k plan
  • Company paid basic life insurance and long-term disability insurance

  • Outstanding verbal communication and customer service skills coupled
  • Patience, empathy and great active listening skills
  • Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook

Prior experience working in a customer service, call center, or healthcare/human service role is helpful as is professional or personal experience supporting people who have disabilities. To serve our Spanish speaking clients, we are always looking for candidates who are bilingual or conversational in Spanish.
