The Manager, HR Business Partner plays a key supportive strategic role as a thought partner to aligned Medicaid leadership and the broader HRBP team. The HRBP is responsible for building successful relationships within all levels of the organization to proactively develop and execute human capital plans that will positively impact the company. Operating within an HRBP consulting model, the HRBP is directly, or in partnership with other HR Centers of Excellence (COE) and HR Shared Services (HRSS), responsible for supporting key talent, organizational processes and workplace practices including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance and change management, organizational design, manager/team assimilation, compensation, talent reviews and enterprise HR initiatives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As partner to the business:
• Executes the HR strategy to address the current and future direction of their team.
• Collaborates with Human Resources specialists and other stakeholders to roll out programs such
as performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement surveys,
diversity, and inclusion initiatives, and learning and development programs.
• Coaches and develops leaders to optimize performance.
• Efficiently manages multiple and changing HR priorities and trends.
• Evaluates the impact of programs/strategies that impact the attraction, motivation,
development, and retention of team members.
• Ensures compliance with Human Resources policies, procedures, and employment laws within
their business units.
As Operations Manager:
• Supports escalated HR inquires as they arise and partner closely with the HR Centers of
Excellence (COEs) communities for quick resolution.
• Effectively leverages and shares key insights and actions based on HR data and metrics analysis.
• In partnership with Talent Acquisition, implements proactive staffing strategies to ensure talent
goals are met.
• Leverages tools and data resources to optimize organizational effectiveness (people, process,
policy)
• Provides guidance on policies, procedures, and employment laws, ensuring fair and consistent
treatment of employees.
As Cultural Ambassador:
• Recognizes, articulates, and helps shape site culture.
• Supports leader and colleague focus on engagement activities.
• Facilitates finding HR solutions for difficult/urgent situations.
• Facilitates dialogue and discussion to align others on company values and related imperatives.
This position requires 3 days per week onsite
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Human Resources, Business Administration, or Healthcare experience
• 3+ years proficient experience in Microsoft suite tools and Cognos, with above average proficiency in Excel with excellent data analytics and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
• Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills
• Adept at collaboration and teamwork
• Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills.
• Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$54,300.00 - $139,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
