Cyber Analytics Consultant

Marsh is seeking candidates for our Cyber Analytics Consultant position which can be based in New York, Chicago, or San Francisco. This is a hybrid role and will require 2 – 3 days/week in the office.

We will count on you to:

• Support delivery of analytical services and risk assessment tools to help clients assess and mitigate risks

• Work with Marsh’s Emerging Risks Group in consulting with clients on cyber risk levels and appropriate risk management strategies

• Support implementation of market-leading analytics-based tools to assess and mitigate risk

• Apply highly developed knowledge of models and analyses in order to assess risk and viability of risk mitigation solutions

• Support delivery processes for all risk analytics services and products, ensuring quality delivery to clients

What you need to have:

• A minimum of 3 years of risk modeling experience

• Proven familiarity with cyber modeling and cyber risk

• Strong knowledge of programing languages (E.g Python, R) and data manipulation/visualization tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau)

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complete concepts to diverse stakeholders

What makes you stand out?

• Experience working in the property and casualty insurance environment

• Expert level of proficiency with MS Excel, SAS, SQL, R, or Python

• Prior analytics consulting experience

• A designation in the Casualty Actuarial Society or other actuarial society, or recent progress made toward such a designation

The applicable base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $195,800.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
