Controls Engineer

Position Summary: The Controls Engineer will provide technical expertise in the design, programming, and commissioning of control systems for various industries such as wastewater treatment, material handling, life science, and pharmaceutical. The Controls Engineer will ensure that the control systems are safe and efficient, and meet the customer requirements.Key Responsibilities• Design control systems for wastewater treatment, material handling, life science, and pharmaceutical applications.• Prepare designs according to UL 508A/698 standards• Program, configure, commission, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and other control devices.• Create AutoCAD drawings for control system design.• Develop and document control system validation plans.• Provide technical support for customers.Qualifications• Bachelors degree in engineering, or equivalent experience• 3+ years of experience in designing, programming and commissioning control systems• Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Control Logix, Rockwell, Compact Logix, Micro logix)• Experience with wastewater, material handling, life science, or pharmaceutical applications• Experience with AutoCADNice To Have Skills• Experience with other control systems such as Schneider, DCS, and DeltaV is a plus.• PlantPAx and RA legacy systems (SLC, PLC5, PanelView) experience is a plus.• Experience in VMWare/virtualization is a plus.Benefits• Competitive Base Salary ($100k - $135k DOE)• Medical, Dental, and Vision• 401k• Vacation/PTOEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
