Controls Engineer-Chicago, ILPosition OverviewWe are an innovative trading company focused on manufacturing and engineering. We are currently seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to be a part of our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes.Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement control system architecture for manufacturing equipment and processes.• Design and develop control system software including PLC, HMI, and SCADA.• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control system components.• Provide technical support for production teams.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical and electrical engineers.• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field.• At least 5 years of experience in controls engineering.• Expertise with automation, machine controls, panel layouts, HMI, and PLC.• Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens control systems.• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other CAD software.• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Benefits• Health insurance• Dental and Vision Insurance• Paid Time Off• 401k with company match• FSA/HSA• Professional developmentEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
