We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant with at least 2 years of experience to join our dedicated legal team. In this role, you will support our legal operations by managing various administrative tasks, assisting with compliance matters, and ensuring our documentation meets rigorous industry and legal standards. Your contribution will be vital in maintaining our high standards of operational excellence and regulatory compliance.You'll do!• Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents, including contracts, compliance records, and internal policies.• Assist in ensuring compliance with industry regulations, particularly in relation to import/export controls, by managing documentation and communication with relevant government agencies.• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all legal documents are up-to-date and properly filed, maintaining strict confidentiality.• Conduct research on legal issues related to operations, including intellectual property and regulatory compliance.• Facilitate communication between the Legal Department and external legal counsel, ensuring that all documentation and information are accurately conveyed.• Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents with various regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.• Manage and track the progress of legal projects, ensuring deadlines are met and keeping the Legal Department informed of developments.• Handle routine administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing legal correspondence, and maintaining an organized filing system.You bring!• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar legal support role.• Strong understanding of legal terminology and experience with compliance-related documentation.• Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.• Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.• A proactive and professional demeanor, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Associate's degree or relevant certification in Legal Studies or a related field.BenefitsSalary $65K-$75K• Health & Wellness: Low-cost health, dental, and vision plans; firm-paid life & AD&D insurance.• Financial Security: 401k, FSA (Flexible Spending Account).• Work-Life Balance: Paid time off, paid holidays, flexible schedule.• Professional Growth: Opportunities for advancement, unlimited PTO for approved educational activities, professional development assistance, tuition reimbursement.Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
