Senior Test Engineer - Defense/Aerospace, Automated Test, ElectronicsWe are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Test Engineer to take on a senior/lead role on our quality assurance team, performing senior Quality Assurance/Quality Control testing of our in-process and finished goods manufacturing products for the aerospace and defense sector.The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, automating testing processes, will have a strong AUTOMATED TEST EQUIPMENT background and a commitment to ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability for our company and for our clients.In this role you will perform the following on a day to day basis:• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cycles for aerospace and defense products.• Lead and mentor junior test engineers in quality assurance and quality control best practices.• Design and execute automated testing scripts to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.• Perform electronics testing to verify and validate product performance and compliance with specifications.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.• Document test results and provide detailed reports on findings and recommendations for improvement.Ideally qualified applicants will bring the listed qualifications to the role:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.• 5+ years of experience in test engineering, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.• Experience working with Automated Test Equipment/Tools.• Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes.• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages.• Experience with electronics testing and validation processes.• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Please reach out for consideration at russ.holland@cybercoders.com and apply here and let's discuss both the fit and your search goals to determine the fit and overlap.
