Vice President of ManufacturingPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Vice President of Manufacturing to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in steel manufacturing and design, with experience managing large-scale operations and a track record of success in improving efficiency and profitability.Key Responsibilities• Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and increase efficiency• Manage daily manufacturing operations, including production schedules, staffing, and resource allocation• Directly oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including design, layout, assembly, and quality assurance• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of manufacturing with inventory management, logistics, and customer service• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations and standards• Lead and mentor a team of managers and supervisors to drive employee engagement, development, and retentionQualifications• Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred• 10+ years of experience in steel manufacturing, with a proven track record of success in managing large-scale operations• Expertise in PEMB (Pre Engineered Metal Building) and MBS (Metal Building Systems) design and manufacturing• Deep understanding of steel manufacturing processes and technologies, including welding, forming, cutting, and finishing• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies preferred• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex manufacturing issues• Experience with ERP systems and other manufacturing software tools• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementBenefitsWe offer a competitive benefit package, and compensation will be commensurate with skills, knowledge and years of experience.Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
