Responsibilities:
Job Summary
This position is responsible for implementing, monitoring, maintaining, and improving American Addiction Center’s IT security posture. Candidates should have an understanding of IT security best practices for servers, workstations, network, cloud and third-party security software/services. This position is empowered to lead and coordinate remediation efforts in the event that IT security issues arise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and maintain IT security standards, program control processes and best practices for the business to ensure mitigation of risks
  • Configure and use IT security tools such as anti-virus, password protection, and vulnerability management software
  • Compile and report on IT security compliance metrics and IT security key performance indicators
  • Document and prepare reports to outline the extent and remediation of IT security posture
  • Coordinate and oversee penetration testing, annually or as needed by the business
  • Coordinate and lead efforts to remediate any IT security breaches discovered through monitoring
  • Keep up to date with the latest IT security trends, tools and industry changes and keep customers and associates informed as needed
  • Recommend IT security enhancements to senior company leadership and coordinate enhancement implementation as needed
  • Perform analyses to validate established IT security requirements and to recommend additional IT security requirements and safeguards
  • Assist the wider IT department with IT security systems technology integration, design, and implementation
  • Work closely with the infrastructure team to monitor AAC networks for IT security issues and breaches
  • Apply a strong knowledge of IT security to all areas within the AAC environment (IT security trends, cyber threats, insider risks and IT security defenses)
  • Work with legal department in matters related to IT security compliance and policies
  • Assist training and development department with IT security awareness training
  • Other IT security related duties as assigned
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management
  • Ability to manage and perform tasks/processes that involve multi-departmental issues and personnel
  • Ability to identify and analyze critical issues and activities and draw conclusions and formulate recommended solutions
  • Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in a matrix-management environment (as well as external vendors and service providers) to ensure that segregation and overlapping roles are identified and coordinated
  • Passion for learning new technical tools and business concepts
  • Able to maintain sensitive and confidential information
  • Demonstrated team player
  • Highly organized and motivated with effective time/project management skills; able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines; strong aptitude in development and testing techniques
Qualifications:
Education/ Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • SEC+, CISSP, or CISA certifications preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Environment, SalesForce, ProofPoint, CrowdStrike, Active Directory, Windows OS, MacOS, firewalls, and computer networking concepts
  • Familiarity with OLTP and OLAP style databases, data warehousing, database security best practices, and SQL injection
  • Familiarity with ETL and EDI processes
