Cybersecurity Technical Manager - Remote

The Cybersecurity Technical Manager role works as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) across one or more key cybersecurity disciplines. This position will provide day to day leadership and management of the ABS QE cybersecurity related International Standards Organization (ISO) programs. The role may have limited supervisory responsibilities related to projects or small technical teams.

The Cybersecurity Technical Manager role also engages in the implementation and delivery of ABS providing client internal audits and certification audits for ISO 27001. This position requires 3 or more years of ISO 27001 third party auditor experience as well as in-depth knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) practices and the ISO cybersecurity related standards.

What You Will Do:

  • This position is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the ABS QE cybersecurity related ISO programs in addition to the development of proposals, providing continuous sales support and managing the relationships with partners in the region.
  • Works as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting ABS QE in the delivery of client internal ISO audits and certification audits.
  • Performs client internal ISO audits and certification audits, as needed.

The candidate must have enough knowledge and abilities to:

  • Manage and provide day to day leadership of the ABS QE cybersecurity related ISO programs.
  • Manage, track and complete ISO related projects.
  • Review ABS QE cybersecurity procedures and update as appropriate.
  • Conduct technical reviews of audit reports.
  • Make certification decision recommendations.
  • Provide initial review and investigation into client complaints, issues and/or appeals.
  • Prepare and conduct technical presentations as needed.
  • Create technical reports and progress reports for projects as needed.
  • Perform cybersecurity related ISO audits.
  • Determine auditor competency.
  • Train and provide guidance for ABS QE cybersecurity ISO auditors.

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor level degree in an applicable degree field.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience performing third party ISO 27001 internal and certification audits.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated project management skills/experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in cybersecurity related ISO standards.
  • Working knowledge of business management systems, process, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated solution-oriented customer/client relations skills.
  • Strong capability in building and maintaining professional relationships internally and externally.
  • ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification.
  • Hands-on technical configuration and implementation of cyber security standards and controls.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in presenting to upper management and executive level clients.

Reporting Relationships:

Typically reports to Global Cybersecurity Program Manager for ABS QE.

Pay Range: $100K-$120K
