Cyberspace Project Coordinator - TS/SCI (18 months)

Location: Pasadena, CA 91109

Full/Part-time: Full-Time

Pay Range: $36.80-$58.52/hr

Duration: 18 months or longer

Work schedule: 9/80 – 1st shift – Eligible for 2 days telework

Citizenship: US Citizen

Travel: Domestic


Summary:

SSAI seeks a Cyberspace Project Coordinator to support work at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, (JPL) National Aeronautics and Space Administration, (NASA) in Pasadena, CA. This candidate is responsible for IT infrastructure system engineering, defining IT infrastructure system needs, and implementation of IT infrastructure system installations. Includes performance analysis, maintainability analysis, capacity analysis, reliability analysis. Establishes contingency plans and anomaly resolution plans for IT infrastructure. Forecasts IT infrastructure system needs and works with other information systems areas to develop policies and procedures to resolve more complex technical problems. Coordinates the implementation of IT infrastructure systems; provides input toward development of project timelines and budgets.


Required Qualifications:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Brief and lead meetings.
  • Availability to work non-standard hours; early/after hours; nights, weekends as needed. Available to work both off-site and on-site, in a team environment of internal and external coworker.
  • In-scope Top Secret clearance w/ability to be SCI briefed. Must be willing to submit to a counter-intelligence polygraph exam.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience as a SCRUM Master.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian products.
