Job Summary:

The Paid Media Campaign Manager will be responsible for managing our paid search channels and support project management of our paid social campaigns, focusing on optimizing and executing across global regions including North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM. This is a hands-on role, where the candidate will be expected to lead in-platform execution, optimization, and performance reporting for paid search and social channels.  

As a critical member of the performance marketing team, the successful candidate will work closely with the team to develop and implement new campaign strategies in paid search and support the execution of paid social. They will also collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution across various platforms.  

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Lead the strategy, execution & optimization Paid Search (Google Ads) campaigns for the North American & international markets.  
  • Manage your campaigns forecast & media spend projections  
  • Work closely with web to improve paid traffic conversion rates and optimize post-click experience to maximize performance 
  • Monitor effectiveness and research ROI opportunities, making recommendations for improvement, developing, and implementing corresponding solutions 
  • Regular reporting and communication of paid search channels and  
  • Support strategy and management of LinkedIn Ad campaigns for the B2B market (with support and guidance from the Paid Social specialists) 
  • Report success metrics and provide insights & recommendations on paid search & paid social performance 
  • Support with project management for global paid social campaigns 
  • Support A/B testing content and creative. Having a deep understanding of paid channel best practices and giving feedback where required. 
  • Work with the central marketing team to translate the global digital strategy through campaign management so that your marketing colleagues and external agencies can support on execution 
  • Assist with project and resource planning where required 
  • Work with web, SEO & content team to feedback keyword insights & findings 

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • 3-4 Years hands-on experience managing Paid Search and/or Paid Social Campaigns across Google Ads & LinkedIn Ads 
  • Experience with managing paid search budget of over $200,000 
  • Experience running multiple ad accounts and different regions 
  • Experience working in SaaS and/or B2B verticals is preferred  
  • Ability to work cross functionally paid social, web, content & SEO teams. 
  • Experience with tracking technologies including Google Tag Manager 
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics 
  • Strong budget management skills 
  • Ability to create positive external relationships and internal cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Strong organization skills and project management experience  
  • Experience working within a fast growing, global company 
  • Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities 
  • Strong analytical and research skills 
  • Strong attention to detail 

Location Information: This position offers the flexibility to work from your home office within Canada or at one of our vibrant office spaces in Kitchener, Toronto, Winnipeg or Vancouver.

 

The expected base salary range for a new hire in this role is listed below. The annualized base salary offered is determined by each candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, training and experience. It is aligned to ensure both internal and external competitiveness using market data for the geographic location and industry. As part of the total compensation at D2L the role may be eligible for additional benefits including a Wellness Subsidy, Equity Grants, Variable Incentive, and more.

Base Salary Range
$66,000$80,000 CAD
