The role is responsible for executing against brand client’s PepsiCo Positive planet and good food company marketing strategies to drive Cause and Purpose activations in these focus areas. They will help curate programs, cultivate relationships, and manage planet positive impact programs for a variety of Frito-Lay brands. This role will support all purpose initiatives led by the internal creative agency in this category, including Social and Community Impact and Purpose-driven campaigns, as well as support Purpose marketing scopes as needed.
The Purpose Partnership Analyst role will bring existing experience in implementing the brand + impact org/entitiy partnerships to yield business, sustainability impact, and reputational goals. Supporting the tactical workstreams that drive creative concepting, partner relationship management, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, cause partnership extensions, and end-to-end program execution.

- This role will have a SME in cause marketing and impact generating marketing campaign strategies. The role will have some SME that will be deepend in this role, and will report to junior Account and Concepting team members responsible for executing the program goals scoped by LG1+ Brand and D3 Leadership teams
- Breakdown of the strategic accountabilities - 10% strategic, 70% tactical, 20% operational
- A&M budget this role manages? Supporting execution of $2MM+ cause/impact contributions across d3 brand clients
- Please provide the Net revenue of the brands managed by this role – N/A (Will support Purpose marketing tactics within $10MM - $15MM of d3 brand client programming)
- Number of brands in scope, are there any emerging brands responsibility as well? 4 to 6 brand clients, 2 to 3 opportunistic projects
Accountabilities
- Support work to build and maintain sustainability and good food impact partner relationships across D3 scope of work with PFNA brand client portfolio
- Support existing purpose programs as well as ideation and sell-in/expansion of future Purpose programming with brand clients
- Support logistical execution of all partnership logistics – gather NDAs, relevant assets, agreement execution with brand clients, implementation details, recap reporting and optimization of meaningful marketing metrics to be tracked through the cycle of the partnerships.
- Support creative and account teams’ development and sell-in of purpose partnership concepts and plans with brand clients during AOP.
- Ensure partnership execution contributions / commitments meet or exceed expectations of brand partners and internal teams.
- Help D3 Purpose team embed purpose partnership plans into internal SOW processes to ensure plans are seamlessly integrated into the D3 operations calendar.
- Proactively identify/maintain partner relationships and develop searchable roster of cause partners that could fit with ongoing strateiges for to driving societal/community impact, consumer affinity, revenue growth and maintaining brand iconiscity.
- Develop trendspotting tools/resources to easily share noteworthy cause and impact marketing highlights with d3 team and brand clients to increase competency and awareness.
Key Skills/Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 3+ years experience in an agency or non-profit partnership management role / or 3-5 years cause marketing and/or philanthropic corporate partnership development experience
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong consumer empathy & customer-centricity. Demonstrated ability to place the consumer at the heart of everything.
- Proven collaboration abilities along with strategic thinking and creative development skills.
- Understanding of cause marketing strategies and ability to execute and manage tactics that deliver on the brand’s objectives.
- Creative out-of-the-box thinker who can bring proactive solutions to identifying, developing and executing breakthrough brand cause/impact partnerships.
- Adept research skills and familiarity with multiple software and database resources used to advance end-to-end partnerships programming
- Results orientated; proven track record of strong tactical execution and communicating across multiple staekholders.
- Ability to develop an informed point of view and influence others within the organization
- Saavy networking and strong negotiation capabilities. Able to adapt approach to achieve win-win results for brands and partners.
- Entrepreneurial mindset – willing to roll up your sleeves and creatively stretch resources, along with being a creator themselves.
