Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Scientists, Project Managers, and Commercial and Technical Product Managers responsible for entire product life cycle for product line. Synthesize market trends, competitive landscape, VOC, and technology pipeline to define strategy for growth. Partner with the commercial organization to drive revenue growth. Represent portfolio on cross-business initiatives to identify opportunities to add value within the Danaher ecosystem of products and services. Build and foster relationships with thought leaders in Genomics markets to maintain line of sight of emerging technologies. Define product life cycle management strategy. Partner with Business Development team to find and assess new technologies. Collaborates with Global Product Marketing to lead the commercialization process to ensure successful product launch to realize business goals Be a technical product expert and manage the growth and profitability of a product portfolio Key Requirements:
BS in biology, biotechnology, or similar degree; MBA preferred 14
years' experience in Life Sciences (Genomics preferred), including experience managing people, and strategy development; less experience may be substituted with an advanced degree. Preferred Attributes:
Prior sales or business development experience preferred Prior leadership or management experience preferred. Demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility Record of successful execution of projects in a matrixed organization Strong communication skills and proven ability to influence others
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
