The Sr. Manager, Regional LMS, Americas is a key figure in leading and managing global training initiatives within the organization. This role is responsible for conducting needs analysis, managing training project development activities, and ensuring all stakeholders are well-informed and aligned with the Global LMS Strategy and vision. This role emphasizes communication skills, collaboration between different teams, and a creative approach to problem-solving along with previous experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Sales Enablement Tools, curricula design, and applied learning theory.This position is part of Global Training and Development and will be a Remote position based in the U.S. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:• Conduct training needs analysis to identify gaps and areas for improvement in the global training program.• Maintain content within the platforms, including creating and updating modules and courses, granting user permissions, and running reports.• Foster relationships with system support resources and lead the identification and resolution of LMS system issues.• Manage LMS system integrations (i.e., employee data feed from HRIS to LMS) and ensure accurate record-keeping for all training activities.• Thinks and acts globally and is aware of learning and cultural differences both domestically and globally that drive learner effectiveness.The essential requirements of the job include:• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning Systems, or a related discipline with 8+ years’ experience in Training and Development or a similar role in a global context and/ or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning Systems, or a related discipline with 6+ years’ experience in Training and Development or a similar role in a global context.• Proven experience in global training program development and management and in conducting training needs analyses and managing training project development activities.• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to work well as both part of a team or as an individual while fostering an environment of innovation.• Effective communicator at all levels with strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:• Up to 25% of domestic and international travelIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:• LMS Certification, Change Management Certification, and/or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or equivalent.• Sales Enablement Experience (i.e., Salesforce, Seismic, PowerBI)• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
