Data Analyst, Global Markets Quality Group

Job Purpose

ICE Data Services, Inc., an Intercontinental Exchange Inc. company, is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data Services team. The Global Markets Quality Group (GMQG) are responsible for the validation and on-boarding of global exchange and listed market pricing data into ICE Data Services systems and downstream products.

The Data Analyst within GMQG is focused on contributing to and coordinating the smooth running of the department by ensuring all processes and admin functions are carried out as effectively and efficiently as possible whilst meeting product specifications for data quality, coverage, and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Support the US teams working hours of 9AM - 6PM, available to work on US Bank Holidays, and provide coverage for 2 nd shift if required.
• Directly support the incoming and outgoing data process including the monitoring and validation of real-time and batch data collection.
• Monitor processes and incident reports and directly support the team with problem analysis, intervention, or remediation.
• Support GMQG client queries, to ensure response quality and response service levels are achieved.
• Support non-core tasks and maintenance as necessary.
• Assist in the maintenance of documentation, identify areas of improvement, and carry out quality assurance on team documentation.
• Support a team ethic of challenging the status quo and continuous improvement.

Knowledge and Experience

• Entry Level Position for someone with interest in the financial markets
• Degree educated or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
