Data Policy Spec II

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Data Policy Spec II, are to: (may be remote)

• Develop and implement data governance and data management procedures, operating models, periodic reviews and updates, and communication;
• Develop master and reference data resources and ensure implementation as business, technical, or operational metadata in Business or Enterprise data systems;
• Proactively identify data governance, master and reference data management, or data protection technologies and support implementation in Business or Enterprise data systems;
• Execute, communicate, and ensure compliance to data governance, master data, and cybersecurity policies across applications and key business datasets;
• Drive organizational acceptance and reporting of accountability and auditing of compliance to data policies;
• Support and enrich data knowledge to improve data fluency across both business and technical experts;
• Participate or lead effective cross-functional working teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree;
• Experience with data governance, master data management, and metadata management approaches and technology solutions;
• Experience with effective cross-functional communication and change management principles; Experience in crop science or other related biological field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 4 years or Master’s with 2 years experience Degree in computer science, information technology, biological science, or other related field
