With groundbreaking technologies like Climate FieldView and our ForGround regenerative agriculture platform, our team is a part of some of the most important advancements in ag.The Digital Product Strategy Lead will partner with the business owners on the product vision and strategy for Machine Data Acquisition, align on desired outcomes, key metrics, execution and value capturing. Since this role will own the product strategy for all Machine Data acquisition, machine compatibility, embedded devices and OEM integrations, the ideal candidate is well connected in the OEM space, has a broad knowledge of the industry as well as understands deeply the data connectivity and interoperability challenges. This role will drive full discovery and execution from idea to launch, will orchestrate the roadmap for this value stream by fostering collaboration and coaching a talented agile product development team composed of designers, product managers and a full-stack engineering team.Key Responsibilities:• Partner with the business owners on the vision for data collection space within for Field View, the industry’s #1 digital agriculture platform.• Lead disruptive and sustaining innovation that will secure advancement of Fieldview platform and support New Business Models globally in order to achieve revenue targets• Develop the product strategy that is aligned with the overall business and customer needs that support the FV vision and mission.• Orchestrate the roadmap delivery for a whole mission team of an average of 50 cross functional team members.• Manage Stakeholder Engagement, working together with Business Owners to elevate senior stakeholder support, gather input, and align on strategic direction, ensuring that the product vision reflects a unified understanding of business goals and market needs.• Coach Product Managers to ensure efficient and effective delivery of digital improvements to our key digital business assets that drive the BCS growth strategy.• Lead Performance Monitoring: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of the product strategy, making data-driven decisions to continuously improve the product's performance. Ensure that metric trees demonstrate how product/solution contributes to business and customers outcomes• Secure talent flow. Identify individuals and technical competencies needed to execute on the roadmap. Assess levels and direct remediation efforts as needed.• Perform and maintain competitive market research related to your area of ownership• Partner with the User Insights Coach and regional CX group to apply user research methods with the purpose of increasing the confidence in the ideas to be developed• Lead mission team accountability for data-driven decision making• Ensure solution design validation globally.• Own Accountability for stakeholder alignment on the solution design• Champion for product development excellence. Ensure best-in-class standards for product management and customer co-creation practices.WHO YOU ARE• Entrepreneurial – pursuing to maximize value creation for both customers and business.• Bias to action – acting with a sense of urgency to deliver results and deliver world class innovations• Resilient – developing solutions to toughest problems in our space to ensure product differentiation• Innovative – applying systems thinking and reinventing our space• Iterative – getting out in front of customers, users and stakeholders to get feedback in quick cycles• Lean – building lean processes to pursue fastest path to valueRequired qualifications• Bachelor or Master Degree in Product Management, Business, Science or any product development related field.• 15+ years of product management or related roles in digital agriculture• Proven record of successfully launching digital products globally that contribute positively to business and customer outcomes• Proven record of leading product development teams• Experience with machine data acquisitionPreferred qualifications• Experience with AG machine data interoperability• Broad understanding of farming practices• Understanding of hardware design and electrical wiringWHAT WE OFFERBase salary estimated range between $189 - $284k annually, depending on the hiring location.
