As a Data Scientist, you'll be responsible for performing a wide range of duties involving data collection, data analysis, model building, text mining, presentation building, and related data stewardship activities. The work will also require collaborating with various colleagues across commercial lines and finance to gain insights into the current sales process.

What You'll Do:

• Develops and maintains operational reports and revenue dashboards for the commercial lines department.
• Builds next generation service fee pricing model; identifies current gap and proposes alternatives.
• Supports in building performance tracking tools for new business production.
• Discovers trends in retention, growth, and macroeconomic factors that impact customer lifetime value.
• Operationalize the portfolio-based approach to scoring models.
• Analyzes fee and commission structure and evolve target customer profile.
• Explores and tests tools that use data science principles to supervise customer retention risks.
• Acts as data steward for business terms that relate to commercial lines service pricing model.
• Analyzes annual client survey data and provides insights that impact the business.

• You have proven ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize key findings from sophisticated data from a wide variety of systems

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or similar quantitative fields
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance or an allied industry
• Expertise in SQL, Python, Excel, and Tableau
• Experience working as an actuarial pricing analyst, budget analyst, or data scientist with a focus on pricing, reserving, or related financial analysis activities
• Completion of at least two or more Actuarial Exams preferred
• Understanding of corporate finance, accounting, and actuarial terms

More About Us:

Compensation: Anticipated salary between $83,270.00 - $138,784.00. Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate.

This position is eligible to participate in an incentive program to earn additional compensation with a target equivalent to 8% of salary annually, based on individual and Company performance.
