Senior QA Automation Engineer (Backend)

Skills

Proficiency in developing scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks.
Extensive knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Expertise in REST API automation using Java 8+, RestAssured or Retrofit, JUnit, and Maven.
Proficient in Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipeline construction using tools like Jenkins or GitLab.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing libraries, frameworks, and tools.
Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure quality releases and customer satisfaction.
Improve existing integration and API tests and develop new ones using Java.
Integrate automated tests and tools into CI/CD processes by developing QA pipelines and quality gates.
Expand and maintain the automated testing infrastructure.
Continuously refine QA processes and tooling, aligning improvements with business objectives.
Make technical decisions to optimize automation strategies and best practices throughout the QA team.
Conduct peer reviews and enforce coding and testing standards to maintain high-quality automation.
Mentor team members in testing tools and automation, serving as an expert in automation best practices.
